A Little About Me
Your Colour Analyst
Jemma
My colour palette/season is Bright Spring.
I was first introduced to the concept of colour analysis as a styling tool about 8 years ago, when it became a craze on YouTube. Whilst I enjoyed watching the videos I didn’t really get the hype or feel compelled to ‘get my colours done’. In all honesty I didn’t really get it. Fast forward about 6 years when I happened to buy myself a bright pink jumper (not very exciting, I know). Normally I hate having my picture taken and don’t like any of the resulting photos. However, whenever I have this bright pink jumper on I really like how I look in the photos.
I realised that this particular shade of pink was ‘my colour’ and it got me thinking that perhaps there was something to this colour analysis I had seen on Youtube and I wanted to know more. I began researching it a further and decided that I would like to find out what my colour season is and what other colours I could add to my palette to join the bright pink. I excitedly booked my appointment! It was such a feel good, positive experience and I came out of the appointment feeling so much more confident about how to wear colour and what tones of makeup would elevate the effect further.
Armed with my swatch book, makeup and jewellery recommendations I set about adding more of my colours to my wardrobe (still a work in progress), treating myself to a new makeup palette and lipsticks along the way. I have been obsessed with colour analysis ever since and my attention began turning outwards to others and wanting to have the knowledge to help them discover their season too. In February of this year I booked onto Lulu’s Boutique’s School of Colour Analysis Course to train in colour analysis myself. I qualified in May and offer colour analysis services in the North East of England.

Emotional Support AssistantLucy is my doggie companion. She is 12 years old and loves to be petted. She also likes sticks, tennis balls, footballs and treats. Her best trick is that she is able to tidy up her toys into their basket. She would love to meet you, but if you are not a fan of dogs just let me know when you are booking and I can make sure she is out of the way.
